What is it?: An electric, five-seat, Performance car designed by Jaguar Cars, a luxury vehicle company. This will be the first electric vehicle, as well as the second SUV that Jaguar has ever created.
The I-Pace has a 90-kWh lithium-ion battery pack. It is expected to drive about 220 miles before the car needs to be charged. Which means the average driver would have to charge the vehicle once a week.
The I-Pace can go from 0 to 60 mph within 4 seconds. This acceleration is generated by the electric mortars 516 lb.-ft of torque (Turning Force), along with 400 hp.
Jaguar claims that the I-Pace can fully charge to 100% in a maximum of 2 hours using 50-kW DC charging.
The I-Pace is expected to be available to the public by 2018.
